Love's Fate or Love's Hate

I'm reading the book Romeo and Juliet by the amazing author William Shakespeare. It's about these two teenagers Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. They're families hate each other and does not approve their love for each other. Romeo is heartbroken from the break up with his ex girlfriend Roseline, he was madly in love with her but she didn't feel the same way so things got ugly. Count Paris this guy who will love to marry Juliet wants to invite her to a party that he's throwing and she approved. Mercutio Romeo's friend wanted Romeo to go to the party to take his mind off of Roseline. And that party did exactly that he went to the bathroom and through the fish tank he saw beautiful and gentle Juliet and Juliet saw handsome Romeo they caught each others eye and Romeo immediately fell in love with her. Love at first sight is what happened with Romeo on Juliet. Juliet knew if she was seen together with Romeo she would risk his life because he's a very bad influence against her family. They both fell in love with each other and got married the next morning privately. Do you believe in young love?

Falling in love as a teenager and getting married the next day when you met them the day before? Sounds very unrealistic but some teenager do fall in love at that age but I doubt get married. Young love is like another way of saying like, you haven't known that person that much or been together for that long to be I love. Love is when your a bit older and happily married that's when you know you guys are in love with each other. That might not happen while you're a kid but mostly in your 30's or 20's. But some relationships with teenagers they do fall in love because they say "they're really into each other, they known each other for a long time, we're so close". Teenagers say those things all the time when they claim they're in love with someone because they might have a tight relationship with that somebody and been in that relationship for a very long time. So it's very unpredictable to answer "do you believe in young love" it's possible in certain ways that might describe people's relationships.

In conclusion, that's why I think about young love relationships some couples have no idea what love and know what the steps are to love. They're just using the term love for like. To understand love you would have to be bit older to get it and experience it because one day you will eventually experience it on someone special.

Rape on the Reservation by Louise Erdich

 The article "Rape on the Reservation" by Louise Erdich is about Native Americans and the violence against women. People are raping Native Americans because they're racist. Native American people feel like nobody is doing anything about it. The senate last week voted resoundingly to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, the 1994 law that recognized crimes like rape, domestic abuse and stalking as matters of human rights. Native Women wear red shawls to represent sexual violence towards them. The Minnestoa Indian Women's Resource center is where women go to, to talk about their issues and feelings and what happened to them.

  I think it's wrong that people rape Native Americans and nobody really dosen't do anything about it. Every Women should be treated the same no matter what color they are. I also think that it's nice that the senate is doing something about it because if it wasn't for them this raping issue would of been going on still. Rape happens to a lot of people to it doesnt matter what kind of gender they are or if they're lesbian, gay, transgender police department and the sentae should do something about it.

  In conclusion, Native Americans should have more guardians around them when they're with other people because more and more native women are getting rapped. The police department should care about the native rapes in the world and should do something about it. The senate is doing the right thing to vote esoundingly to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act.

"Never say Never" by Justin Bieber featuring Jaden Smith

"Never say Never" by Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith was a very popular song in 2009 when the movie "The Karate Kid" staring Jaden Smith premiered on June 10th. The song was in the credits at the end of the movie. The song Never say Never is saying that you should never say never before judging something. You should always try it before you say anything. The movie "The Karate Kid" was mostly about this kid named Trey he got beat up by this kid and he wanted to prove to him that he is not a wimp and he will fight him in a karate championships match. Trey's Karate master Yue was teaching him karate but Trey said he will "never" learn karate in a few weeks but he took that back and his master taught him well and he won the championship karate match.

Justin Bieber likes to encourage his fans and tell them messages through his songs since he can't talk to every single one of his fans about what they should do or shouldn't do. Never say Never was a great encouragement song. The stanza "I never thought that I could walk through fire I never thought that I could take the burn, I never had the strength to take it higher until I reached the point of no return" that part is telling us that he once said that he could never walk through fire but he took that chance and he took the burn meaning he did it. The next line is telling us that he was once weak and said that he could never be as strong but when he worked out and tried he was stronger as he ever thought. This other stanza I thought was good was " I will never say never I will fight I will fight to forever make it right when ever you knock me down I will not stick on the ground". That part of the song was also one part in the movie. When Trey was getting bullied by this kid and he knocked him to the ground but Trey got back up and didn't give up he defended himself. Whenever someone pushes you onto the ground you will get back up and fight your battles and never say you can't do it you can do it. This song wants people to know that even if you did try or didn't try , never say never keep on trying until you get it.

Justin Bieber wants his fans to know that whatever your future dreams are and you're struggling now never give up and don't say you're never going to get through this because eventually you'll get through it. If sometime in your life you said that you could never something it's a possibility that you can do it now. I think that this song was very encouraging to people because a lot of people give up too fast and always say the same thing " I can never do this, I can never do that" just keep on trying!

"The School Bus Mess"

People have heard from the news or newspapers that City School Buses are going on strike. Many of you may think how would kids get to school now with out any school buses. The School departments gave metro cards to kids so they can take the train to school. Mayor Michael Bloomberg had declared the next round contracts the city negotiates with the bus companies and that gave them a reason because they thought that school bus drivers have driven costs too much. So for that it would be much harder for kids to get to school. Kids need education more than worrying about how to get school. Some of kids parents can't afford to repeatedly buying a new metro card when they have school buses but now they don't. New York City annually spending $7,000 on students metro cards opposed to about $3,200 by Los Angeles, $5,000 by Chicago and $1,000 by Miami. That's a lot of money if you add all of that together and Ll if this can be prevented if the school buses weren't on strike. The only school buses that are running and dropping kids off at school are for the special education kids bus drivers are allowed to do that just for the special education students to get to their destination safety. People are blaming Mayor Bloomberg he made the biggest mistake that he can possibly make. Parents are quoting jobs just to take their kids to school then they won't have the money for the train to go to school and to come back.

Parents think it's outrageous that the city school buses went on strike especially when parents are struggling w their debt. Many parents are complaining about this stupidity it's just wrong. Waisting money on train fares is a lot parents would have to spend $25 a week for the metro cards. It's tough for kids that live very far and have to take the train to school. The students would most likely get to school late because of that. I think it's fair that school buses would have to pick up special education students and take them to school because they would most likely get lost as they're getting to school.

In conclusion, I think it's really wrong for New York City mayors to make buses go on strike. They should think words they do things because there is going to be a decease of students of not going to school. Trains fairs are expensive if you keep on buying them every week. Parents quit jobs and get stuff out there way just to get there child to school safety and quickly. I think that the New York City mayor should rethink their law and make the city school buses start running again.

Is Life Better with or without Your Other Part of Your Family? "Fall Out by Ellen Hopkins"

Kristina's kids Hunter, Autumn and Summer are all separated living in either a fist home , grandparents house or theirs friends house because their parents have them up at a very young age and they couldn't take care of them at the age they were when Kristina had all of them. Hunter knows his mother and hangs out with his mother but doesn't know that he has two other little sisters that is living somewhere else living another life. Autumn knows her father she hangs with him and she is staying with him for a little while to get use to him. Summer is living in a foster home with her other foster brothers and sisters. The things is that none of them know each other and the best thing to do is some how ask if they have other siblings. Hunter is old enough he is 18 he can go out for an adventure and search for parts of his family that he doesn't even know. Autumn could ask her dad but she's a scared and shy type so she doesn't have the guts to ask him anything and Summer parents doesn't know anything about her real mother or father.

Hunter wants to explore the world go out onto adventures and research more on his family and see what his family was like in the past. Autumn could ask her father, if she's brave enough A time in the book about her mom. And Summer could give it. Try and ask her foster parents if they know anything about her birth parents. I feel like at one point in a book something is going to happen between Hunter, Autumn and Summer are going to some how meet up with each other and start seeing the differences and the similarities between all three of them. If they all meet in my perspective it will be a better life for them because now that they have net they can hang with each other care for each other, talk about their memories with their mom and dad.

It's good to talk with people especially siblings you haven't seen in a while about your life and the issues you're going through. Kristina and Brenden are going to some how reunite with theirs children and talk about their life's with one part of the family is it better or is it becoming a problem. Speak up to people so they could understand your issue and they can support you and be there for you when you need some advice.

'Summer's Horrible Misery' Fallout by Ellen Hopkins

 In the book Fallout by Ellen Hopkins  Summer second daughter of Kristina's already met her father and is spending time with him but she has a feeling he's going to make her do something that she really doesn't want to do. Her father still has the "monster" in him meaning that he stills take drugs and he can't back away from him. Summer is afraid that her father might make her take drugs with him and she will be scared to refuse because she doesn't know how he would react to her answer. Another problem that Summer has is that she likes these two boys named Kyle and Matt they both really like her but she's realy confused whto pick and the one who is really boring is the one who respects her in everyway and Matt he takes drugs and sometimes shoves her around and tell her wat to do, and she has more feelings for him.

  Summer's father is a druggie he'll do anything for drugs he will even get arrested to get whole lot of drugs but Summer is afraid they he might offer weed or drugs to her and she will be scared to respong. Summer has every right to be afriad but it's her father that we are talking about she should tell him the truth and be totally honest with him "no" or "no thank you" would be an appropiate answer. Matt and Kyle both likes Kristina really much but Kyle likes her much more and treats her much more better than Matt. Kristina really likes Matt but he doesn't treat or care for her as much as Kyle does.

  I think that Summer don't have to be scared to speak up to her father and refuse to take the drugs. Drugs are bad and Kristina knows it and she don't want to end up in the same place and life like her mother and father she wants to be better than them and get married have kids keep them for theresels and care for them. Kristina really likes Matt if she likes him then she can have him but when she realizes that he's not good enough for her she will go with Kyle or be by herself.

The Lorax by Dr. Suess

 In class the other day Ms. Palmer read a picture book called The Lorax by Dr. Suess it's a picture book for little kids and the understandable message for adults. The Lorax is about this fanatsy character he is cutting down truffle tree's to  make sweaters for the poeple in town. The guy doesn't realize that as he is cutting down more tree's , fishes and birds are lossing their homes and have to move because the truffle trees is a place where birds live at and the factory is throwing out oil into the pond and fishes have to move. And the lorax, this guy from the truffle tree came out and told the guy that was cutting down the truffle tree's and making sweaters to stop that he's making people loose their homes.

 Dr. Suess wanted the readers to know that cutting down the truffle tree's to make sweaters is not a good idea because the fishes are loosing the ponds so they had to move and the birds had to move also because the truffle tree's were all gone. While reading this book it made me feel mysterious, curious, happy, sad, and disappointed because when the guy was cutting down the tuffle tree's it made me sad that the birdies and the fishies were losing their homes and what got me happy is when the guy gave this seed to this little kid so he can plant more truffle tress because he realized what he was doing was wrong.

The messsage Dr. Suess wants to give to the readers is that even when you have all the power when it comes to making money or doing something that will change your life there are still disadvantages with other people because your changing their life as well. Sharing is caring, share your power with your peers and everybody will be happy.
